How To Remove Shortcut Overlay In Windows Vista

icksWhenever you try to create a shortcut in Windows Vista its always brings up the " Customize Shortcut Overlay ".. There is a simple way to get rid of this annoying behavior of Vista and thats by download a simple software known as " Vista Shortcuts Overlay Manager ".. What this application basically does is that it changes the default icon behavior of your shortcuts in Windows Vista.. Click on the link at the end of this post to download..

In this application you will see that it has four options..


1> Arrow
2> Light Arrow
3> Custom Arrow
4> No Arrow
and there is another option right below these four that reads " Select here to remove “-shortcut” extension when new shortcuts are created "
